The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) opened at 5,826.45 on April 9, 2026, down 45.89 points from the previous trading day, as shown on the electronic display board in the dealing room of Hana Bank in Jung-gu, Seoul. On the same day, the won-dollar exchange rate began trading at 1,480.6 won, up 10 won from the previous trading day.
