The Jangseong County Senior Welfare Center, also known as the "Second Family," held the launching ceremony of the "Nuri Annyeong Volunteer Group" on April 8, 2026, as part of a project to promote senior volunteer activities, and began its first activities. The center has also initiated the establishment of a "Comprehensive Apartment Care Network," which is one of its major projects.

The Nuri Annyeong Volunteer Group was formed to identify neighbors in urgent need among Nuri Town residents at an early stage and to prevent emotional isolation and loneliness.

A total of 10 volunteer members participated in the launching ceremony, pledging to serve with a spirit of sharing and consideration, and to fulfill their responsibilities as the leading volunteers of Nuri Town.

The Nuri Annyeong Volunteer Group plans to conduct customized activities once or twice a week for elderly residents living alone in the area, including checking in on their well-being, delivering essential daily necessities, and monitoring their health.

Nam Soonhee, the leader of the volunteer group, said with a bright smile, "I will do my utmost to make our apartment a loving and warm home."
