[Today’s New Products] Sweet and Savory with Less Sugar... Launch of Two Light&Joy Sauces

Ottogi announced on April 8 that it has launched two new products with reduced sugar content: 'Light&Joy' Low-Sugar Sweet Chili Sauce and Low-Sugar Samgyeopsal Onion Pickle Sauce.

These two new products are formulated to contain no more than 4 grams of sugar per 100 grams. The 'Low-Sugar Sweet Chili Sauce' has 95% less sugar compared to the top three best-selling products in the market, and combines the spiciness of domestic red chili peppers with the sweetness of allulose and fruit. The 'Low-Sugar Samgyeopsal Onion Pickle Sauce' contains 86% less sugar than the top three best-selling products. It features the savory flavor of brewed soy sauce, combined with the sweetness of allulose and domestic fruit, as well as the tanginess of fermented vinegar.

An Ottogi representative stated, "We plan to continue expanding our lineup of products under the Light&Joy brand to satisfy both taste and health."
