This facility is a specialized sports venue built with a total project cost of 3.5 billion won. It features a speed wall (15 meters high, 6 meters wide), a lead wall (18 meters high, 30 meters wide), and an indoor lead wall (15 meters high, 26 meters wide), all constructed to meet International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) standards. Visitors can experience a variety of sport climbing disciplines here.

The climbing wall is equipped with a variety of "holds" and "volumes" to enhance the enjoyment of climbing, and the courses are arranged by difficulty level, making it accessible to everyone from beginners to advanced climbers. In particular, the inclusion of an indoor climbing wall allows for stable, year-round use regardless of weather conditions.

The facility is open on weekdays from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and on weekends from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is closed every Monday for regular maintenance. For safety, at least two people must use the facility together. To encourage early usage after the opening, admission will be free for two months from April to May.

A survey conducted on the first day of opening showed high satisfaction among users regarding the variety of difficulty levels, simultaneous access to indoor and outdoor climbing, lighting for nighttime use, and connectivity with other sports facilities within the stadium.

A Paju City official commented, "With the Paju International Sport Climbing Stadium, our citizens can now enjoy climbing in a more professional and safe environment. We will continue to promote usage through thorough facility management and a variety of programs."

Going forward, the city plans to host various competitions, offer experience programs and lessons to broaden the base of sport climbing, and foster elite athletes while also encouraging participation in recreational sports.
