Rapper Dok2 (real name: Lee Jun-kyung) has been accused of failing to fully fulfill his debt obligations even after a court-mandated settlement regarding unpaid payments for precious metals.
On April 3, The Munhwa Ilbo reported on Dok2's debt default, citing a statement from attorneys Yongbeom Kim of OKIMS Law Firm and foreign attorney Sangyeob Lee, who served as legal representatives for the overseas jewelry company. According to the statement, Dok2 had agreed to repay his debt in three installments as per the court's compulsory mediation decision, but has paid only the first installment so far, with the remaining amount still unpaid.
Dok2 recently revealed his romantic relationship with Lee Hi and continues his music career by releasing the first single 'You & Me' through the label they co-founded.

In 2022, the Civil Appellate Division 4 of the Seoul Southern District Court mostly accepted Mr. A's claims, ordering Dok2 by compulsory mediation to pay the outstanding amount and late payment penalties in three installments, with the deadline set for January 6, 2023. However, according to Mr. A, Dok2 made only one payment of about $11,580 in September 2022 and has not made any further payments since then. The remaining unpaid balance, including late payment penalties, is now reported to be about $32,623 (approximately 49 million won).

They added, "His attitude of not faithfully complying with the court's decision shows a serious disregard for the judicial order." In particular, the asset structure and circumstances surrounding the recent establishment of '808 Hi Recordings'-the label Dok2 co-founded with singer Lee Hi-are also under review. Mr. A's side stated that they are considering legal measures such as compulsory execution or provisional seizure to preserve their claims if necessary. Meanwhile, Dok2 and Lee Hi recently made their relationship public and are continuing their music careers by releasing their first single 'You & Me' through the co-founded label.
