Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province has selected four products as this year's toast wines.

According to Jeonbuk Province on April 2, the toast wines selected this year are: ▲Takju category: "Koreansuldoga's RedWoltak (Jeongeup)" ▲Yak & Cheongju category: "Yuyu Brewery's Byeonsan Noeul (Buan)" ▲Fruit wine category: "Baesan Myungjusa Gochang LB's Bokbunjaeum (Gochang)" ▲Distilled liquor category: "Bizun Brewery's Hwadongwon 42 (Namwon)"-a total of four products.

The "Toast Wine of the Year" initiative has been underway since 2024 with the aim of discovering and promoting outstanding traditional liquors from the Jeonbuk region. A total of 17 products from 9 cities and counties were submitted for the competition, and four final products were chosen through document review and sensory evaluation. The selected products will be used as official toast wines at provincial events.

Min Sunshik, Director General of the Agricultural Life and Livestock Industry Bureau of Jeonbuk Province, stated, "We will continue to support efforts to widely promote the excellence of Jeonbuk's traditional liquors and help the traditional liquor industry take a leap forward."
