Gyeongnam Talent Sharing Association Presents "Visiting Hope Concert" to Elderly in Geochang

On March 28, the Gyeongnam Talent Sharing Association presented a "Visiting Hope Concert" to the elderly at the Silver Nursing Day Care Center in Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun.

On this day, about 15 people-including Association President Lee Eunsu, members, and the performance team-showcased prepared musical performances and shows to around 60 elderly facility users and staff members.

In particular, singers Yeon Jun, Kim Dongho, Cha Jooyeon, and Kim Sangryul took the stage to give passionate renditions of songs such as "Crying and Crossing Bakdaljae," among other diverse performances.

The event also featured saxophone performances by association members, an impromptu singing contest for the elderly, and even foot massage volunteer services.

After the concert, staff members were encouraged and daily necessities such as toilet paper were gifted.

The Gyeongnam Talent Sharing Association is at the forefront of spreading a culture of sharing in the local community through various cultural and welfare volunteering activities.

This event was organized to provide vitality and enrichment to elderly residents in rural areas, where cultural and emotional support tends to be lacking, and to encourage facility staff such as social workers and care assistants who are dedicated on the front lines.

Center Director Yeom Chunok said, "It is very meaningful to see the elderly smiling and enjoying themselves so much," and added, "I am deeply grateful to the association for coming all the way here to offer such a warm performance and volunteer service."

Association President Lee Eunsu stated, "I am pleased that the sincerity and care of our members and the performance team seem to have been well conveyed to the elderly," and added, "We will continue to practice ongoing sharing through volunteer activities that reach every corner of the community."
