The alarm service "Ringo," which provides content to users by utilizing incoming call methods, has been officially launched on Google Play.

Ringo is a service structured so that at a scheduled time, a phone call is made to the user, who then answers the call to access digital content such as videos. Unlike traditional push notifications or message delivery methods, which often have low open rates, Ringo employs the phone call medium-requiring direct user interaction-to significantly improve content delivery rates.

This platform allows government agencies, creators, and companies to deliver information directly to subscribers through their own channels. According to the company, content can be sent without relying on algorithms, resulting in high delivery efficiency. It is particularly suitable for delivering public notices or urgent information from government offices.

The revenue model is based on a targeted marketing system utilizing user information. Advertisers can set conditions such as gender, age, and region, as well as determine the price, and the system sends advertisements to appropriate users. Users who view the content receive points and other rewards as compensation.

The company emphasized that, while minimizing the collection of personal data, the marketing model goes beyond simple exposure by verifying whether content was actually viewed.

A Ringo representative stated, "Based on our patented technology, we have focused on actual reach and user engagement, unlike conventional one-way advertising," and added, "We aim to create an ecosystem where users, creators, and advertisers all share value."

With this launch, Ringo plans to gradually expand collaborations with brands and creators, as well as advance into the global market.
