YG Entertainment announced on March 30 that the group Baby Monster will release their third mini album, 'Choom (CHOOM),' on May 4 at 6:00 p.m.

This comeback follows the schedule outlined in Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk's '2026 YG Plan.' On the same day, YG unveiled a motion teaser featuring a racing car speeding ahead on its official blog, hinting at the concept of the new release. Executive Producer Yang described the album as "a new work unlike anything we've ever presented before."

Pre-orders for the album began at 11:00 a.m. that day. The new release will be produced in a total of three formats: photobook, jewel, and plush keyring. The photobook version will be available in three types-Crimson, Metallic, and Prism-each including a photo book with various images and a mini poster, depending on the version.

The jewel version, released in six versions for each member, consists of a 36-page photo book and stickers. The plush keyring version, also available in six types for each member, features three-dimensional dolls based on animal drawings personally created by the members, enhancing its collectible value. Pre-orders will be accepted until May 3, and sales will begin at record stores nationwide-both online and offline-starting from the official release date, May 4.

Before the comeback, a second anniversary event will also be held. Baby Monster will host 'Monstiez Day' at The Same Hapjeong, Myeongdong, and Insa branches in Seoul through May 5.

With the release of the new album, Baby Monster will officially begin their activities. Starting in June, the group is scheduled to hold their second world tour across five continents, including Asia, North America, Oceania, Europe, and South America.
