As reports emerged that rapper Dok2 (36) and singer Lee Hi (30) have been in a relationship for five years, fellow celebrities stepped forward to publicly express their support.


On March 28, the digital magazine HIP reported through its official social media account that Dok2 and Lee Hi are dating. According to the outlet, the two made their relationship official with the release of "You & Me," the first single from their jointly founded label, 808 HI RECORDINGS. The duet "You & Me," scheduled for release at 6 p.m. on the same day, is based on slow and rich R&B and hip-hop sounds. It is said to reflect the story of their relationship and their journey so far. This day also marks Dok2's birthday.

Dispatch reported that Dok2 and Lee Hi have been in a relationship for five years since 2022. The two became acquainted through the MBC variety show “Infinite Challenge” in 2016, continued to work on music together, and began dating at the end of 2022. Multiple entertainment industry insiders told the media, "Their connection goes back a long way. They are in a serious relationship," adding, "They are a couple with very deep feelings for each other."


As news of their relationship spread, their peers also sent messages of congratulations and support. Rapper Sleepy, known to be a close friend, commented "Let's get married" on the relationship post about Dok2 and Lee Hi. DinDin also showed his support by hitting the 'like' button.


Dok2 debuted in 2005 and is recognized as a leading hip-hop artist in Korea. He gained fame as a rapper and producer by appearing on the Mnet hip-hop survival show “Show Me the Money.” Lee Hi rose to fame as the runner-up on the SBS audition program “K-pop Star” in 2011 and debuted as a solo singer in October 2012. Some of her hit songs include "1, 2, 3, 4," "It's Over," and "Breathe."
