Good Gang-An Hospital (Director: Heo Hyun) has been selected as a "Leading Cooperative Medical Institution for Attracting Foreign Patients" by the City of Busan.
According to the hospital on March 26, the City of Busan conducted a comprehensive evaluation on March 25 that included document reviews and on-site assessments. The evaluation covered international patient response infrastructure, operation of dedicated foreign language staff, specialized medical fields, and the potential for wellness tourism linkage. Based on this, Good Gang-An Hospital was chosen as one of 14 final medical institutions.
Good Gang-An Hospital received high marks for its continued strengthening of customized medical services for foreign patients, particularly in specialized fields such as health check-ups, breast center, and spine center.
With this selection, the hospital will receive various forms of support, including the development of country-specific wellness and medical tourism products, priority participation in overseas briefings and familiarization tours, promotions utilizing global online travel agency platforms, and the production of multilingual promotional content.
Park Changsoon, Head of the International Cooperation Team, stated, "We will continue to enhance the quality of our medical services and maintain patient-centered care," adding, "We will actively pursue marketing strategies to attract patients with serious illnesses, focusing on regions such as Mongolia, the Americas, and Russia, in line with the increasing trend of foreign patients."
This year, a total of 14 medical institutions were selected: four general hospitals, two hospitals, six clinics, and two Korean medicine institutions.
