With this victory, she has secured entry to the ANWA, three major events on the U.S. LPGA Tour (the AIG Women's Open, the Amundi Evian Championship, and the Chevron Championship), the KLPGA Tour's Hana Financial Group Championship, the ISPS Handa Australian Women's Open, and the 123rd Women's Amateur Championship.
Yang Yunseo shared her thoughts, saying, "This is my last year as an amateur, so I have been preparing for this tournament (ANWA) since last year. I look forward to competing against the best players in the world." She added, "Augusta National, where the Masters is held, is a 'dream stage' for me. I am honored. My goal is to surpass the best-ever finish by a Korean player, which is tied for fifth place. If I get a good opportunity, I want to win."
Yang Yunseo said, "I try to play calmly on the course. Even in crisis situations, I do my best not to lose my composure." She added, "People around me often say I am 'quietly strong.' My consistency and stable play are my strengths." Along with Yang Yunseo, Korea will also be represented by WAAP runner-up Oh Sumin, Park Seojin, and Kim Kyubin.
