Busanjinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (Director Park Sung-ho) signed a financial business agreement for the development of the coffee industry on the 23rd with Yeongdo District Office (Mayor Kim Ki-jae) and LGC Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Sujeong) at the Yeongdo District Office in Busan.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish a cooperative system between the organizations in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the coffee industry and ensure the stable operation of the 'Global Yeongdo Coffee Festival.'

원본보기 아이콘The three organizations agreed to collaborate on building a coffee industry network, discovering joint projects, and supporting the hosting of the festival. Yeongdo District Office will be responsible for nurturing the industry and operating the festival, while the Free Economic Zone Authority will be in charge of discovering collaborative projects and supporting international exchanges. LGC Co., Ltd. will support content planning and execution by utilizing its global network.
The '2026 Global Yeongdo Coffee Festival' will be held from May 15 to 17 at the Amir Park area in Yeongdo. More than 100 companies from 12 countries are expected to participate, with around 100,000 visitors anticipated. The Free Economic Zone Authority plans to invite overseas institutions and companies during the event and introduce the investment environment and logistics infrastructure.
Director Park Sung-ho stated, "This will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of the coffee industry and expand global cooperation," adding, "We will achieve tangible results through inter-agency collaboration."
