The second step involves a detailed diagnosis of the electric vehicle's core systems. Key inspection items include measuring battery state of health (SOH), scanning for battery management system (BMS) error codes, checking for anomalies in the charging system (OBC and charging port), and diagnosing drive motor system errors. Through this process, drivers will be able to comprehensively assess the "health status" of their vehicles.
The inspection will be conducted using the LAUNCH TECH XPAD 9 diagnostic system owned by CNPOS, and will be based on precise data regarding the battery and major electric vehicle components.
Advance reservations can be made through the Naver reservation system, and inspections will be performed one person at a time in 30-minute intervals. This service is available only for pure electric vehicles (EVs); hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles are excluded.
A representative of the International e-Mobility Expo Organizing Committee stated, "We have prepared this program to help electric vehicle users alleviate concerns about safety, such as fire risks, by checking the condition of their vehicles in advance, enabling safer driving. We expect that, as an event that goes beyond simple observation and offers hands-on experience, it will serve as an opportunity to strengthen trust in the electric vehicle usage environment."
