This Supporters program is being launched for the first time to widely promote the beautiful famous mountains and mountain tourism resources of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and to encourage a variety of leisure activities among residents and tourists alike.

The number of applicants to be selected is 50 in total, targeting those who have certified at least one visit to any of the “Gangwon 20s Famous Mountains” between 2021 and 2025. The final group of Supporters will be active for about eight months, from April to November. Their main duties include climbing the Gangwon 20s Famous Mountains and creating and uploading review content to their personal social media accounts (such as Facebook, blogs, Instagram, and Twitter).

Those selected as the first class of Supporters will receive various benefits, including: a commemorative towel for the first class of Gangwon 20s Famous Mountain Supporters, a first-class Supporter badge (for those who complete the program), an opportunity to participate in the "Find the Santa of the Weekend" program for the Gangwon 20s Famous Mountains, and awards for outstanding content.

CEO Choi Sunghyun stated, "The Gangwon 20s Famous Mountain program is the Organization’s flagship initiative, attracting numerous hikers every year. With the launch of this first class of Supporters, we hope to expand and develop the program into a second and third class in the future."
