ONOFF CBT, Enhanced Distance with Advanced Carbon Technology

ONOFF, the golf brand of Japan's Globe Ride (formerly Daiwa), a leader in fishing gear, has unveiled the CBT 526 and CBT 626. These new models are characterized by enhanced distance performance, stable shot direction, and improved customization features tailored to each golfer’s swing. They are designed to deliver a solid impact while enabling a lively swing speed.

In the ONOFF CBT series, CBT stands for Cross Balance Technology. The key feature is the placement of interchangeable weights in both the head and grip, allowing golfers to adjust the swing weight without changing the total mass of the club. This enables each golfer to achieve more precise settings based on their swing style and feel at impact.

The products are available as the CBT 526, which includes a driver, woods, utility clubs, and irons, and the CBT 626, which is a driver-only model. Notably, the CBT 626 driver offers an ultra-lightweight shaft option in the 30-gram range, allowing for a lighter swing and increased club speed to help improve driving distance.

By applying Daiwa's carbon shaft technology, torque has been significantly reduced, and shaft twisting suppressed, ensuring more stable shot direction. The shafts are available in two options: blue (mid-high kick point for lower trajectory) and red (mid-low kick point for higher trajectory).

The CBT 526 also features enhanced functionality. It offers a draw-biased driver that anyone can use with ease, and, for the first time in ONOFF clubs, dedicated sleeves have been applied to the woods and utility clubs as well. Loft angle can be adjusted by up to ±1.5 degrees. The irons are designed to make it easier to get the ball airborne and come with both carbon and steel shaft options.
