Kumho Tire announced on the 18th that it had invited broadcaster Kim Je-dong to hold a talk concert for its executives and employees, aiming to bring laughter and foster a sense of empathy among them.

The talk concert was held the previous afternoon at Haerum Hall of Chosun University under the theme "Comfort, Recovery, and New Expectations."

This event was organized to alleviate the psychological fatigue of executives and employees who have been tirelessly working on the recovery and stabilization efforts following last year's fire at the Gwangju plant. It also aimed to strengthen organizational cohesion through empathy and communication among members.

The focus was on promoting emotional recovery based on laughter and empathy, and delivering a message about a culture centered on protecting and restoring the well-being of the company's members.

With his characteristic wit, Kim Je-dong brought laughter to the executives and employees in attendance, fostering a strong sense of empathy. By sharing his own candid stories, he provided a time for everyone to relieve sadness and share in joy together.

Centered around stories of life and daily experiences, participants shared their experiences, delivered messages of empathy and comfort, and reinforced the sense of community by emphasizing, "We went through it together, and we will recover together." The event also served as an opportunity to rebuild trust within the organization and spread a positive organizational culture.

Hwang Hokil, Head of Safety and Production Innovation at Kumho Tire, said, "Although we all went through difficult times due to the unexpected fire, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the executives and employees who stood by the site and persevered together, as well as to the families who quietly supported us. Based on the trust of our members and their families, Kumho Tire will continue to grow into a stronger and more united community."

In his greeting, Jeong Jongoh, Head of the main labor union, said, "Today's event is not only for Kumho Tire members but also for their families. I hope that this kind of cultural event will continue for the next 10 or even 20 years."

An employee who attended the talk concert said, "After unexpectedly facing an unprecedented accident, I was under extreme psychological stress, but Kim Je-dong's sincere words gave me great strength. I think this time, when I laughed and cried together with my colleagues, will remain a lasting memory."
