Cosmetics directly purchased by President Lee Jae-myung and his spouse at Bansong Market in Changwon, Gyeongnam, have become a hot topic.

Previously, on March 15, President Lee and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung attended the ceremony commemorating the 66th anniversary of the March 15 Uprising at the National 3·15 Democratic Cemetery in Changwon, and then visited a cosmetics store inside Bansong Market, located in Seongsan-gu.

At that time, the presidential couple appeared surprised as they browsed through numerous K-Beauty products displayed in the store. First Lady Kim, who has always shown great interest in K-Beauty, led the way in exploring the store and purchased cosmetics.

According to LG Household & Health Care on March 16, the product purchased by the presidential couple was 'The Face Shop Soft Soft Peeling.' This product is a spray-type body scrub, which removes dead skin cells simply by spraying it onto the body (excluding the face) and rubbing lightly by hand.

Thanks to its convenient application and immediate effects, the product has gained a devoted following through word of mouth. It is known for containing grain ingredients such as mung beans, black beans, and rice, which help reduce irritation and provide added moisture.

While purchasing the product, President Lee remarked, "It really helps remove dead skin when used on the body." First Lady Kim added, "Even without using a scrubbing towel, it removes a lot of dead skin."

It has also been reported that the presidential couple purchased other items, including Dr. Belmeur's 'Ampoule Mask Cica Peptide,' which is a derma-cosmetic brand from LG Household & Health Care, as well as nail remover and cotton pads.
