Through this agreement, Naver Cloud will provide graphic processing units (GPUs) optimized for the university research environment, based on its AI infrastructure and solutions, and will establish administrative and learning services powered by HyperCLOVA X-based AI.

In addition, Naver Cloud plans to introduce multilingual administrative services that combine its AI solutions with the language expertise of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, thereby supporting the adoption of AI in university education and research environments.

The two parties also aim to implement a future-oriented smart campus that integrates online and offline experiences. They plan to introduce entry and payment systems using facial recognition technology and to create administrative and learning environments based on the AI collaboration platform 'Naver Works.'

The two organizations will also cooperate in nurturing AI talent. The Naver Cloud Academy and Naver Cloud Platform training programs will be linked with the university's regular curriculum, and opportunities such as internships, job fairs, and technical mentoring will be provided.

Yuwon Kim, CEO of Naver Cloud, stated, "We expect this collaboration to create an innovative ecosystem where AI technology is utilized in real educational and research settings," adding, "Just as Naver's second headquarters, 1784, serves as a testbed for innovation based on AI and cloud, we will support Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in becoming a testbed for such innovation as well."
