The Construction Division of Samsung C&T Corporation is developing an artificial intelligence (AI)-based senior living service to be applied to integrated medical and residential complexes.

On March 16, Samsung C&T Corporation announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hamilli PFV to establish a senior residence service at the Raemian Gallery in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

In response to the super-aged society, Samsung C&T Corporation plans to launch the "AI Senior Living Solution" in the second half of this year, utilizing advanced technologies such as AI, data, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This solution features the application of the "Digital Hospitality" concept, which connects the everyday lives of seniors with professional care services based on digital technologies.

The service is designed to help seniors maintain independent and active healthy lifestyles through hyper-personalized wellness coaching and 24-hour safety management functions. For senior residence operators, it also offers a real-time dashboard to monitor residents’ conditions and an AI chatbot manager, contributing to enhanced work efficiency and productivity.

This solution will be established and operated in the senior residence within the Medical Complex currently being developed by Hamilli PFV in Baegun Valley, Uiwang City.

The Uiwang Medical Complex will become the first medical-residential complex in Uiwang City, integrating the city's first general hospital (with 250 beds), a senior residence with about 570 units, and officetels. The vision of a "Smart Medical Residence based on Future Convergent Medicine," conceived by Dr. Seongjoo Hwang, Director of Sarang Hospital and an integrative medicine expert, will also be reflected in the project.

Hyejung Cho, Vice President at Samsung C&T Corporation, stated, "The combination of Hamilli's expertise in medical and healthcare services with Samsung C&T Corporation’s technology will lead the way in establishing a premium senior residence model."

Based on this agreement, Samsung C&T Corporation will provide consulting for the service planning of the Uiwang Medical Residence and will gradually enhance the services through 2030, the scheduled move-in date, aiming to expand it as a senior housing model responsive to the super-aged society.
