Shinsegae Duty Free Unveils Renovated Cartier Boutique at Incheon Airport... Luxury Space Infused with Korean Aesthetics

Emphasizing Brand Identity with a Champagne Gold Facade and Traditional Architectural Color Palette
Strengthening the DF4 Luxury Boutique Zone
Expanding the Airport Shopping Experience Centered on High-End Brands

Shinsegae Duty Free announced on March 15 that it has newly renovated the Cartier boutique located in Terminal 1 (T1) of Incheon International Airport. This renewal is characterized by a spatial concept that combines the brand's inherent elegance with a uniquely Korean sensibility.

The exterior features a champagne gold-colored facade, a signature color of Cartier, making the brand identity stand out even within the airport. The interior uses a combination of red and beige tones inspired by traditional architecture to create a refined atmosphere, while wood details reminiscent of wooden panels add depth to the space.

Inside the store, a focus wall inspired by the curves of Incheon Bridge serves as a striking design element. In addition, the brand’s symbolic panther motif is naturally integrated throughout the space, highlighting Cartier’s unique identity. The renovated boutique offers a wide range of Cartier collections, including jewelry, watches, bags, perfumes, and accessories.

Since securing the DF4 (Fashion & Boutique) concession at Incheon Airport in 2023, Shinsegae Duty Free has been developing the area as a "Luxury Fashion Boutique Zone" centered on global high-end brands. Currently, major brands such as Herm?s, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Celine have opened stores, driving sales, and Cartier has further strengthened its brand presence with this store renovation following the launch of its fragrance collection.

Shinsegae Duty Free is building a luxury retail environment tailored for airports, connecting multiple categories including fashion, jewelry, perfume, and beauty, and is gradually expanding the shopping experience beyond simply bringing in new brands.

A Shinsegae Duty Free representative stated, "This Cartier boutique, which reflects Korean aesthetics, is attracting interest from international tourists," adding, "We plan to further enhance the luxury shopping environment at Incheon Airport by expanding collaborations with high-end brands."
