On March 14, President Lee posted on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a video posted by Financial Services Commission Chairman Lee Eogwon about the removal of the cap on stock manipulation whistleblower rewards. He wrote a message to this effect. The video, produced by employees of the Financial Services Commission, features an office worker who received a reward for reporting stock manipulation getting out of a supercar and explaining the reporting process.

On February 25, the Financial Services Commission lifted the cap on rewards for reporting stock manipulation and accounting fraud in order to promote whistleblowing on capital market crimes. The reward amount can be up to 30% of the unfair gains and fines recovered through detection and seizure.

Immediately after the announcement by the Financial Services Commission, President Lee posted on X, "You can receive tens of billions or even hundreds of billions of won as a reward for reporting stock manipulation," adding, "It's definitely easier than winning the lottery if you want to turn your life around." He also emphasized, "Please stop manipulating stock prices. Stock price manipulation will ruin your life!"
