Seogu District in Gwangju Metropolitan City has launched the 'Healthy 100 Years Bot' KakaoTalk chatbot service to enhance residents' access to health information and is now operating it in earnest.

The 'Healthy 100 Years Bot' is a non-face-to-face health information guidance service available via KakaoTalk, which can be accessed at any time-including nights and holidays-without time constraints. Through this service, residents can conveniently check major health center programs and health information on their smartphones, which is expected to reduce repetitive and simple phone inquiries and improve work efficiency.

The chatbot service is structured around information that residents frequently use, focusing on six key areas: ▲health center introductions and certificate issuance ▲vaccinations and infectious disease management ▲hospital, pharmacy, and emergency medical guidance ▲pregnancy, childcare, and life-cycle health promotion ▲mental health and outreach health centers ▲everyday health information.

In particular, the chatbot allows users to easily check procedures for issuing various certificates such as health checkup results, view national vaccination schedules, locate nearby Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and obtain information on how to apply for maternity support programs. It also provides guidance on major health center programs, such as early dementia screening and mental health counseling.

Residents who wish to use the service can simply search for 'Gwangju Seogu Health Center Healthy 100 Years Bot' in the KakaoTalk search bar and add the channel to start using it immediately.

Lee Wongu, Director of Seogu Health Center, stated, "We will continue to upgrade the service so that residents can access the health services they need more easily and quickly."
