A Vietnamese man has become a hot topic among local internet users after appearing completely transformed, having lost more than 20 kilograms in 100 days.
On March 5 (local time), Vietnamese media outlet Jet News released the story of the diet journey of Thai Kien Quoc (26), a TikTok influencer living in Ho Chi Minh City. Quoc is a well-known influencer in Vietnam, mainly producing food review content. However, due to irregular eating habits and frequent late-night meals, his weight at one point increased to 80 kilograms, and his body fat percentage rose above 30%, causing warning signs for his health.

Quoc’s weight loss involved intensive exercise and strict diet management. He dedicated four hours a day to working out, doing cardio in the morning and weight training in the afternoon.
His diet mainly consisted of chicken breast, fish, eggs, and vegetables, while foods containing carbohydrates such as rice and bread, as well as anything with sugar, were strictly limited. Quoc confessed, “I used to eat impulsively without thinking, so it was not easy to plan each meal and eat only at set times.”
After 100 days, his weight had dropped by 20 kilograms to 57 kilograms compared to when he started the diet. His body fat percentage also decreased by about half. Even more remarkable was that his appearance had changed completely. After he revealed his face, social media was filled with reactions such as “He looks like a completely different person” and “It doesn’t even seem like the same individual.”
In an interview with a local media outlet, Quoc said, “I used to eat and film late into the night, but after losing weight, both my body and mindset have changed. I’ve started to enjoy hiking and outdoor activities, and my health has improved.”
