The British rock band Deep Purple will hold a concert in Korea at Culture Park, Paradise City in Incheon, at 7:00 p.m. on April 18, according to concert promoter We Are Live on March 13. This marks Deep Purple's first solo performance in Korea in 16 years since 2010.
Formed in 1968, Deep Purple has been centered around core members such as Ian Gillan (vocals), Roger Glover (bass), and Ian Paice (drums). Recognized as icons of hard rock, the band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. They have also been inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
At this concert, Deep Purple plans to perform some of their signature songs, including "Smoke on the Water," "Highway Star," and "Soldier of Fortune." The band continues its activities, having released their 23rd studio album, "=1," in 2024.
Tickets will be available through an exclusive presale on the We Are Live platform, followed by general sales. The presale begins at 12:00 p.m. on March 18, and general ticketing opens at 12:00 p.m. on March 19 via Ticket Link.
