Busan’s Local Brands on Display... Shinsegae Centum City Hosts 'Shinsegae Loves Busan' Exhibition

Shinsegae Centum City is holding a special exhibition to introduce local brands from Busan.

On March 13, Shinsegae Centum City announced that it will host the 'Shinsegae Loves Busan' themed exhibition. The event is designed to promote Busan-based local brands and raise awareness of regional mutual growth initiatives.

The department store has attached large banners on its exterior walls and placed event logos at entrances throughout the store. In April, a photo zone will be set up as well. Online promotion is also underway. Through the Shinsegae Department Store website and app, stories of growth from local brands representing Busan, such as Leeheungyong Confectionery and Samjin Fish Cake, are being introduced.

Until March 29, special discount events are being held for each brand. There is also a promotion offering a 5,000 won discount for purchases of 10,000 won or more.

Promotional activities for local brands will continue through live broadcasts. Next month, Sanggukine, known as a 'Haeundae Market specialty,' will hold its first 'Shinbaek Live' broadcast from a department store location.

Discount events featuring more than 70 brands in cosmetics, fashion, kids, and other categories will also take place. Some brands will offer discounts of 10% to 30% and provide free gifts.

Regional mutual growth initiatives will also be highlighted. In cooperation with Busan Metropolitan City, Shinsegae Centum City recently renewed its contract with Dongbaek Sanghoe, which entered the department store in 2023. The store also operates a dedicated display area featuring over 30 local brands.

A Shinsegae Centum City representative said, "Through Busan-themed promotions and mutual growth activities, we aim to communicate more closely with the local community."
