HD Construction Machinery to Issue Government-Certified "High-Voltage Handling and Safety Management" Qualifications

Selected as a Participating Company in the "Corporate Qualification Government Accreditation System"

HD Construction Machinery will issue government-certified qualifications for handling high-voltage and safety management of electrified equipment.

On March 13, HD Construction Machinery announced that it had been selected as a participating company in the "Corporate Qualification Government Accreditation System" by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea under the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The Corporate Qualification Government Accreditation System is a practical qualification certification framework in which the government grants credibility to company-specific, specialized job skills.

With this selection, HD Construction Machinery will conduct corporate qualification examinations for "Construction Machinery High-Voltage Handling and Safety Management (LV.1·LV.2)" for handling electrified construction equipment such as electric excavators and electric forklifts. This is the first time in Korea that a qualification related to electrified construction equipment has been introduced amid the trend toward electrification in the construction machinery market.

The qualification certification will be carried out through the "Training·Assessment·Certification" program at the HD Construction Machinery Eumseong Global Training Center. After completing a practical, on-the-job curriculum and passing both written and practical exams, a qualification certificate will be issued.

Since 2024, HD Construction Machinery has been jointly developing these qualifications with HD Hyundai Site Solution. The company has established a government-certified evaluation system that goes beyond simple training to include rigorous assessment and verification. For the LV.2 level, a technical proficiency equivalent to a nationally certified technician is required. Upon acquiring the qualification, individuals will be equipped not only to perform independent maintenance but also to manage safety in live electrical conditions. HD Construction Machinery plans to further expand the qualification to an LV.4 program, which is at the level of a master technician, and broaden the scope of recognized qualifications.
