Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority Operates Promotional Booth at 'InterBattery 2026'

The Gyeonggi-do Free Economic Zone Authority is participating in 'InterBattery 2026,' the largest battery-focused exhibition in Korea, where it is operating a promotional booth and carrying out investment attraction activities targeting companies in the advanced battery industry sector.

InterBattery 2026, Korea's leading battery industry exhibition, is being held from March 11 to March 13, 2026, at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, with over 700 companies participating and more than 75,000 visitors expected to attend. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and co-organized by the Korea Battery Industry Association, COEX, and KOTRA.

At this exhibition, the Gyeonggi-do Free Economic Zone Authority is operating a promotional booth to actively promote the investment environment, industrial competitiveness, and specialized strategies of its major development districts within the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone.

In particular, the promotional booth highlights the investment environment of four key districts within the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone, including Pyeongtaek Poseung·Hyundeok District, Siheung Baegot District, and Ansan Science Valley (ASV) District. The booth also offers tailored investment consultations for companies in battery-related advanced materials, manufacturing equipment, inspection and measurement equipment, and electric and electronic components sectors, which are closely linked to the battery industry.

In addition, by expanding networking among participating and visiting companies at the exhibition, the authority aims to discover potential investors and connect these efforts to future company visits and follow-up consultations, thereby generating tangible investment attraction outcomes.

Nengsik Kim, Commissioner of the Gyeonggi-do Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, "InterBattery is a leading industry exhibition where the latest technologies and global trends in the battery sector can be seen in one place.
