Korea Carbon Signs 228 Billion Won Ultra-Low Temperature Insulation Material Supply Contract

Korea Carbon announced on the 12th that it has signed a supply contract worth a total of 228 billion won for ultra-low temperature insulation materials for LNG carrier cargo holds.

According to the electronic disclosure system (DART) on the same day, Korea Carbon stated that it signed supply contracts with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HD Hyundai Samho for 184,997,184,000 won and 42,962,540,000 won, respectively. Combined, these contracts amount to 30.7% of Korea Carbon’s annual sales revenue.

This amount was converted using the exchange rate of 1,467.30 won per US dollar, which was the base rate on the disclosure date.

The contract with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries is effective from the announcement date until March 31, 2029, while the contract with HD Hyundai Samho runs from the announcement date until June 30, 2028.
