INOX announced on March 12 that the company, together with its key secondary battery subsidiaries, participated in "InterBattery 2026," unveiling its value chain and receiving high praise from both clients and investors.
At this exhibition, INNOX Advanced Materials highlighted its "thermal transfer prevention surface pressure pad (inter-cell and upper pad)" designed to maximize fire safety. This product is characterized by its ability to effectively block fire propagation without generating dust even at temperatures exceeding 1,000°C, significantly enhancing battery safety. The company also showcased high-elasticity film and high-rigidity pads developed for the commercialization of next-generation batteries.
INOX Lithium unveiled its high-purity lithium hydroxide (LiOH) processing and manufacturing technology, which is scheduled to go into mass production in the second half of this year. Through this technology, the company presented an alternative to stabilize the supply chain for critical raw materials that are heavily dependent on China. In addition, the company shared its roadmap for expanding its product line to lithium carbonate and lithium sulfate, clearly presenting its vision of becoming a "total lithium solution company."
INOX EcoM introduced its silicon (Si) additive technology for anode materials, which enhances both battery energy density and lifespan. This technology enables precise coating of the anode surface, minimizing structural damage and internal gas generation that can occur during charging and discharging processes, thereby contributing to longer battery life.
"InterBattery 2026" will run until the 13th, and throughout the event, the INOX Group will continue to present its products and conduct technical consultations for visitors at its integrated booth within COEX Exhibition Center.
An INOX official stated, "We aim to become a global advanced materials company that leads the standardization of next-generation battery technology together with our clients by reducing dependency on raw materials from specific countries and promoting domestic supply chain localization."
