The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on March 11 that, due to the current situation in the Middle East, some areas in Dahieh, south of Beirut, Lebanon, will be designated as travel ban zones (Travel Alert Level 4) starting from 12:00 a.m. KST on March 12.

Currently, the travel ban already applies to the southern border areas of Lebanon adjacent to Israel and to Nabatieh Governorate. Now, all areas of Dahieh, except for Beirut Airport and the M51 road, will be additionally designated as travel ban zones.

Travelers can be subject to penalties if they visit these travel ban zones without exceptional passport use authorization. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We ask all citizens planning to visit the affected areas to cancel their trips, and those currently staying there to move to safer areas."
