This event was the second environmental cleanup activity, following the event held on March 4 at Hwajeon Industrial Complex in Gangseo, Busan. The Authority organized this initiative to create an industrial complex where industry and nature coexist in harmony.

The event was attended by Yoon Byungil, President of Highland Innovation Co., Ltd., Lee Jeongwon, President of Firefox, Jeong Seoin, Head of Changwon City Volunteer Center, Yoon Geumsun, Head of the Jinhae Branch of the Changwon Volunteer Organizations Council, Min Byeongdeok, Head of the Changwon Saemaeul Traffic Volunteer Corps, as well as corporate executives and employees, members of volunteer organizations, and staff from the Environmental Division of Jinhae District Office. Afterward, the participants were divided into teams and carried out 'jupging' activities along riversides, roadsides, and green spaces. In particular, they focused on collecting litter such as cigarette butts, discarded plastic bags, and other household waste around the Dongcheon 1 Bridge walkway and the surrounding parks.

Park Sungho, Administrator of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, "The environment is directly linked to the competitiveness of industrial complexes," and added, "We will continue the Eco Jupging Challenge and work to foster an eco-friendly and low-carbon industrial environment."

Starting with this event, the Authority plans to continue monthly industrial complex jupging activities at Mieum Industrial Complex in April, Saenggok Industrial Complex in May, Machun and Namyang Industrial Complexes in June, and Jisa Industrial Complex in October.
