Renault Group (Chairman: Francois Provost) announced its new mid-to-long-term strategy, the "futuREady Plan," on March 10 (local time in France).
Aligned with Renault Group's strategic announcement, the Renault brand also unveiled its key strategy to drive growth through 2030. Renault plans to launch 26 new models by 2030 and aims to achieve annual sales of 2 million units.
Since 2021, Renault Group has been pursuing structural improvements through the "Renaulution" strategy. With the new futuREady Plan, the Group is set to launch 36 new models across its brands-including Renault, Dacia, and Alpine-from this year through 2030.
The Group will also accelerate electrification and expand its global lineup, with a plan to maintain an operating margin of 5-7% relative to revenue and an annual cash flow of at least 1.5 billion euros, thereby strengthening its financial stability.
The Renault brand has identified three core drivers: strengthening its brand presence in Europe, expanding electrification across its entire lineup, and enhancing its position in global markets outside Europe. Through these initiatives, Renault aims to launch 26 new vehicles and achieve annual sales of 2 million units by 2030.
In the European market, Renault plans to introduce 12 new models by 2030. The company will expand its next-generation electric and hybrid models not only in the A and B segments, where Renault has a strong presence, but also in the C and D segments.
The electrification strategy will focus on pure electric vehicles and the hybrid E-Tech lineup. Renault will continue to offer hybrid E-Tech models in the European market even after 2030.
To target the C and D segment electric vehicle market, Renault also unveiled the new RGEV Medium 2.0 platform. This modular architecture, compatible with segments from B+ to D, features extended driving range, ultra-fast charging based on an 800V architecture, advanced technology, and high efficiency.
Renault is targeting annual sales of more than 2 million units by 2030, with half of those sales to be generated outside Europe. To achieve this, Renault will strengthen its market presence around five global hubs: Korea, India, Morocco, Turkey, and Latin America.
Following the "International Game Plan 2027," which introduced models such as Kardian, Duster, Grand Koleos, Boreal, and Filante, Renault plans to launch an additional 14 new models in markets outside Europe by 2030. The company will also continue to develop vehicles tailored to local market demands by leveraging strategic partnerships, including with Geely Group.
