CJ Freshway announced on March 11 that its kids' food ingredient brand, Ainuri, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Bebecook, a company specializing in infant and toddler foods.
Bebecook is a specialized company in infant and toddler foods, accounting for about 40% of the domestic baby food market, with a cumulative membership reaching 2 million.
CJ Freshway stated that, through this partnership, the two companies will share their distribution channels to expand the market and strengthen product competitiveness through joint product development. Under the new agreement, Ainuri will have exclusive distribution rights for certain Bebecook products-including rice snacks and beverages-to daycare centers and kindergartens. The companies also plan to jointly develop new snack products, which will be released sequentially starting in May.
The consumer touchpoints for the Ainuri brand will also be gradually expanded from the existing business-to-business (B2B) focus to business-to-consumer (B2C) channels. Ainuri will introduce its private brand (PB) products on Bebecook's online mall, "Bebecook Mall." The range of products available will gradually expand from snacks to agricultural, livestock, and marine products.
A CJ Freshway representative stated, "We will create synergy with Bebecook throughout the entire value chain, from product planning to distribution and sales," adding, "We also expect that entering Bebecook Mall will expand B2C customer touchpoints."
