Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Promotion Agency are accepting applications for the 'Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Voucher' until March 31.
The Lifelong Education Voucher program provides support of 350,000 won per person (in the form of card points) that can be used for tuition and textbook fees for lifelong education courses.
The first round of recruitment covers four categories: ▲General (recipients of basic livelihood security and the near-poor aged 19 or older) ▲AI & Digital (aged 30 or older) ▲Seniors (aged 65 or older) ▲Persons with Disabilities (aged 19 or older). The Lifelong Education Voucher points are provided via NH Nonghyup Card (Cheum), and can be used to pay for various educational courses such as certification, language, humanities, artificial intelligence & digital, and entrepreneurship, as well as to purchase textbooks at institutions registered as voucher providers.
The list of registered institutions, including lifelong education facilities, lifelong vocational education academies, and lifelong learning centers, can be found on the Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Voucher website.
Hong Seongdeok, Director of Lifelong Education at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The Lifelong Education Voucher system is designed to help all residents of the province expand their learning opportunities," adding, "We will continue to provide support so that more residents can experience real changes in their lives through learning."
