In addition, a 'K-Wave Shopping Week' event for international customers has been prepared. From March 19 to 29, Lotte Department Store’s main branch, Jamsil branch, and Lotte Outlet Seoul Station branch will host this event, creating themed spaces centered around key visuals inspired by the ‘K-Wave’ moments welcoming global fans.
Products popular among international tourists will feature a ‘Korea Only’ tag, and QR codes summarizing major shopping benefits will be placed throughout the stores, making it easier for foreign customers to access shopping information conveniently.
Special shopping benefits for international customers have also been prepared. During the event, international customers who spend a certain amount or more will receive a Lotte gift certificate equivalent to 7% of their purchase amount. Additionally, in the K-fashion specialty zone ‘Kinetic Ground,’ international customers can enjoy a 10% discount on selected K-fashion brands and receive a Lotte gift certificate worth 10% of their purchase, for a total benefit of up to 20%.
International customers who make same-day combined purchases of at least 300,000 won will receive a ‘Yakgwa and Spoon Set,’ which is a K-goods item, and those who spend at least 500,000 won will be given a ‘Snowman Portable Lamp’ featuring traditional Korean patterns, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Park Sangwoo, Head of Marketing at Lotte Department Store, said, “With a significant increase in global K-pop fans expected to visit Seoul during March, we have prepared both special lighting displays and K-shopping promotions centered around the main branch in the heart of Myeong-dong. We aim to provide international customers with a special visit through distinctive shopping content and events that can only be experienced in Seoul.”
