GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 10th that it has successfully developed its own artificial intelligence (AI) tool, 'AI Lab', utilizing in-house graphics processing units (GPUs).
The AI Lab leverages the company's internally owned GPUs. Its key feature is that it can be freely shared within the company without concerns about security risks such as technology leaks. By utilizing its own GPUs, the company can accumulate AI-driven information with each use, resulting in an effect of internalizing the technology.
Additionally, noting that most in-house AI use cases have centered on documents, GS Engineering & Construction simplified the functionality so that materials with intellectual property rights, such as blueprints, can also be easily entered and utilized.
GS Engineering & Construction stated, "The use of AI is not just a simple technology but a strategic choice for work innovation," adding, "We will actively foster a culture where employees can freely utilize AI and share their experiences."
