The Korea Energy Information Culture Foundation announced on March 9 that it has reopened the Energy Information Museum "Ejeong Town," located on the first floor of its headquarters in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, after renewing it with a focus on children's experiential activities.

The foundation completely revamped the space by strengthening play-based experiential content, reflecting the usage patterns of its main visitors-preschoolers and lower-grade elementary school students. This renewal features a participatory structure designed to help children understand energy concepts more easily and naturally.

The main exhibits include the "Eco Play Wall," an interactive media-based participatory content that helps children easily understand the concept of carbon neutrality through games, and the "Energy Roadmap," a board game-based experiential space where visitors can create their own missions. In addition, the "Energy Play Zone," which enables children to learn about various energy sources through physical activities, is tailored specifically for young visitors.

Foundation CEO Lee Jusoo stated, "We have renewed the space so that children can understand energy more easily and enjoyably through exhibits tailored to their perspective," adding, "We will continue to expand communication activities that allow people to encounter and relate to energy naturally in their daily lives."

The Energy Information Museum is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and group tours for children aged 5 to 11 are available by advance reservation through Naver. For more details on the operation of the Energy Information Museum, please refer to the foundation's website or contact the Energy Education Team for inquiries.
