"Blood Pouring from Wife's Body, a Strange but Not Bad Feeling"... Turns Out to Be 500 Million Won Lottery First Prize

A man who heard about an unusual dream from his wife bought a lottery ticket and won first prize.

On March 9, Donghaeng Lottery, the lottery trustee operator, announced through its official website an interview conducted on March 5 with Mr. A, who won first prize in the 103rd round of "Speetto 1000" and will receive 500 million won.

Mr. A said, "Recently, my wife told me she had a dream in which blood was pouring from her own body. She described it as a strange feeling that was neither scary nor unpleasant. After searching online, I found out that this kind of dream is considered a lucky omen." Mr. A, who usually buys Lotto tickets once a week, explained that this time, he felt a strong urge to buy an instant lottery ticket, specifically 'Speetto.'

After purchasing the ticket at a shop in Gongdo-eup, Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, Mr. A checked the results on the spot. Amazingly, he won first prize. Speetto 1000 is an instant lottery ticket where you win a prize if your number matches the lucky number. The first prize is 500 million won, and only 11 first-prize tickets are issued.

Mr. A recalled, "The moment I checked the prize, I couldn't help but shout out loud. My heart was racing so fast and I was so excited that I called my family and said, 'I think I've made a big deal.'" He described how tense the moment was.

Mr. A plans to use part of the prize money to repay loans and to help purchase a home. He said, "I had personal debts and was under a lot of emotional stress, but now I feel relieved and grateful that I can resolve them with the prize money. I am happy that this can be a measure for my retirement."
