Dongbanseongjang Mall Introduces Digital Onnuri Gift Certificates as Payment Method

The Korea Small and Medium Venture Business Distribution Center announced that its online shopping mall, Dongbanseongjang Mall, will introduce digital Onnuri gift certificates as a payment method starting from March 9, 2026.

Dongbanseongjang Mall is a mutually beneficial online shopping mall that has been operated since 2018 to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling to enter the online market expand their sales channels.

Dongbanseongjang Mall is adding digital Onnuri gift certificates as a payment method in order to improve consumer convenience and boost sales of products from SMEs on the platform.

Currently, consumers can purchase excellent products from more than 40 Onnuri gift certificate-affiliated stores listed on Dongbanseongjang Mall, and the number of affiliated stores is planned to gradually increase.

The same policy will also apply to the "Tax Point Discount Shopping Mall," an online shopping mall operated by Korea Small and Medium Venture Business Distribution Center in collaboration with the National Tax Service.

To mark the upcoming new school term and spring season, Dongbanseongjang Mall is holding various promotional events such as the Spring Furniture and Bedding Exhibition, Home Appliances Exhibition, and Samchuly Bicycle Exhibition, offering excellent SME products at reasonable prices.

Tae Sik Lee, CEO of Korea Small and Medium Venture Business Distribution Center, stated, "We hope that the expansion of payment methods will directly lead to increased sales for SMEs on Dongbanseongjang Mall," and added, "We will continue to improve convenience for both consumers and participating SMEs to further vitalize Dongbanseongjang Mall."
