Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on March 9 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bundang Seoul National University Hospital for a residential-based artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare platform.
The agreement outlines plans to link Hyundai Engineering & Construction's healthcare platform with a specialized medical institution as a way to materialize next-generation healthy residential services. According to the company, the platform focuses on evaluating the service structure and operational direction suitable for residential environments, based on accumulated health data and an AI-based healthcare service system.

원본보기 아이콘Under this agreement, the two parties will jointly research and develop related services and the platform. They will conduct proof-of-concept studies for AI healthcare based on health data and refine scenario models for resident health management services. Hyundai Engineering & Construction will be responsible for providing demonstration environments, scenario planning, and platform technology development, while Bundang Seoul National University Hospital will provide medical and clinical consulting and review medical appropriateness.
The two organizations also plan to establish a collaborative system in connection with the hospital's Healthcare Innovation Park. This park hosts 35 companies engaged in research linked to clinical practice, including gene analysis and stem cell research. Hyundai Engineering & Construction stated, "We will further enhance the expertise and precision of our healthcare platform by integrating medical expertise with AI technology, and gradually expand the application scope of the next-generation healthy residential model based on real-world demonstrations."
