On March 9, as the KOSPI index plummeted by more than 6% during trading, triggering a sell-side circuit breaker, employees at the main branch dealing room of Hana Bank in Seoul are monitoring the stock market and exchange rates. On this day, the KOSPI opened at 5,265.37, down 319.50 points (5.72%) from the previous trading day, while the KOSDAQ started at 1,096.48, down 58.19 points (5.04%).
