The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that at 10:06:59 AM on March 7, 2026, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 occurred in the sea area 66 kilometers northwest of Yeonggwang County, Jeollanam-do.

The epicenter was located at latitude 35.46 degrees north and longitude 125.82 degrees east, with the earthquake occurring at a depth of 22 kilometers.


The Korea Meteorological Administration stated that there is expected to be no earthquake damage.
