[Photo] Gas Station Raises Price by 20 Won Overnight Despite President's Warning

On March 6, just one day after President Lee Jaemyung ordered strict measures against profiteering in fuel prices, a gas station in Seoul (right photo) was selling gasoline at a price 20 won higher than the previous day. On March 5, President Lee had convened an extraordinary Cabinet meeting and instructed officials to promptly designate a 'maximum price' for petroleum products by region and type in order to curb the surge in fuel prices and prevent hoarding.
