The Embassy of France in Korea has appointed Felix, a member of Stray Kids, and actress Jun Ji-hyun as honorary ambassadors for the 140th anniversary of France-Korea diplomatic relations.

On March 6, through his agency JYP Entertainment, Felix stated, "Various cultural and artistic events are scheduled to take place in Korea this year, so I hope many people will show interest and participate."

The embassy explained that Felix was selected because of his powerful influence in the global music market, his proven popularity across Europe, including France, and his ability to expand cultural common ground between the younger generations of both countries through his international recognition.

Throughout the year, Felix will participate in major cultural events commemorating the 140th anniversary of France-Korea diplomatic ties, helping to raise public awareness about the significance of the relationship and engaging with the next generation.

Stray Kids made history in July 2023 as the first K-pop artist to headline 'Lollapalooza Paris,' and attended the 'Yellow Coin Fundraiser,' hosted by the First Lady of France, in both 2024 and 2026. In July of last year, as part of their 'Dominate' world tour, they held a solo concert at the massive Stade de France, drawing 120,000 attendees, the largest audience ever for a local K-pop performance.
