Jeon Hangil, a former Korean history lecturer and far-right YouTuber, shared an anecdote about former President Yoon Suk-yeol's repeated failures in the bar exam, attributing it to his dedication to helping acquaintances.
According to Jeon Hangil News on YouTube on March 4, Jeon had a conversation with Choi, a YouTuber and former National Intelligence Service operative, discussing "The Reason Behind Former President Yoon's Nine Attempts at the Bar Exam."
Choi said, "The bar exam was coming up next week, but when a married friend told Yoon that his wife had left the house and there was no one to look after the child, Yoon bought a bag of candy and looked after the children for three nights and four days." He added, "Incidents like this happened multiple times."
Choi also said that when one of Yoon's peers was getting married and had no one to deliver the wedding chest, Yoon even traveled to the countryside to help. He described Yoon as having a tendency to dig into social issues until they were resolved.
On the broadcast, Jeon also revealed that he had recently exchanged letters with former President Yoon. Jeon said he had delivered a seven-page letter, containing his thoughts on the current political situation and his feelings, to Yoon through his attorney.
According to Jeon, former President Yoon expressed his pleasure at receiving the letter via his attorney and mentioned a televised debate on election fraud with Lee Junseok, leader of the Reform New Party. Yoon reportedly conveyed a message saying, "It was a successful and remarkable debate that awakened the public," and expressed gratitude for Jeon's courage and dedication.
