Koramco REITs Management & Trust Completes 70 Billion Won Capital Increase for Subsidiary...Expands Large-Scale Development Projects 원본보기 아이콘


On March 6, Koramco REITs Management & Trust announced that it has completed a capital increase of 70 billion won for its subsidiary, Koramco Asset Management, and will expand investments in large-scale complex development projects and data centers.


With this capital expansion, Koramco Asset Management now has capital of approximately 140 billion won. Koramco plans to use this as an opportunity to accelerate its growth by strengthening its business structure and expertise in REITs, real estate funds, and real estate trust operations.


Currently, Koramco Asset Management manages and operates real estate assets worth approximately 54 trillion won, making it the second largest in Korea after IGIS Asset Management. The parent company, Koramco REITs Management & Trust, manages 17.2 trillion won of real estate assets through REITs, and 17.5 trillion won through real estate trust operations.


Koramco Asset Management manages 19.2 trillion won in assets through real estate funds and project financing vehicles (PFVs). Following the completion of the K-Square Data Center Gasan in Guro-gu, Seoul, the company is expanding its investments in data centers in locations such as Seonggok in Ansan and Jangnim in Busan. Recently, it has also acquired Bundang Doosan Tower and the Hyundai Motor Securities Building in Yeouido. In addition, it is participating as an asset management company (AMC) in the mixed-use development project at Seongnam Bokjeong Station, which is valued at approximately 10 trillion won. This 70 billion won capital increase is also intended to support participation in future large-scale investment projects and to expand new business ventures.
