GS E&C to Launch Sales of 'Doan Xi Centum Rice' in Daejeon Doan New Town in April

GS Engineering & Construction announced on March 5 that it plans to begin sales of the 'Doan Xi Centum Rice' apartment complex in Doan New Town, Daejeon, next month.
Doan Xi Centum Rice is being developed as part of the Doan District Residential Site Development Project in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, and will consist of a total of 2,293 units. Of these, 1,780 units will be available for general sale. In Block 26, the complex will rise from two basement levels to 42 above-ground floors, housing a total of 1,209 units, with 946 units (each 84-99 square meters of exclusive area) available for general sale. In Block 30, the buildings will also have two basement levels and 39 above-ground floors, comprising 1,084 units, with 834 units (each 84-134 square meters of exclusive area) for general sale. Units with an exclusive area of 84 square meters, which are especially popular, account for 82% of the offerings. Move-in is scheduled for the second half of 2029.
The area around the complex is expected to offer a favorable 'school zone' environment, with new elementary, middle, and high schools planned nearby, making it possible for children to safely walk to school. Additionally, the site is located near the planned Yonggye Station on Daejeon Metro Line 2, and once the station opens, accessibility to downtown and convenience for daily life are anticipated to improve further.
The central commercial area of the Doan District, which is planned to feature commercial and retail facilities, is also within walking distance, providing easy access for residents. The site also offers convenient connections to the Honam Expressway via Yuseong IC and Seodaejeon IC, allowing for smooth travel to Sejong City and other major regions.
The complex will offer a variety of mid- to large-sized units with exclusive areas of 84 square meters or more, and most buildings are oriented to the south to enhance residential comfort. A piloti design will be applied to the first floor of every building to ensure privacy and a better view for lower-floor residents.
The residents' community center, 'Club Xi-An,' will feature amenities such as a sauna, fitness club, golf driving range, study room, and kids' library. There will also be a tea house and guest house designed to harmonize with water features, as well as a daycare center and a together-care center for children.
