[Breaking] US Stocks End Mixed After Iran Offensive

The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed on March 2 (local time), as the United States responded to Iran's retaliatory attack with an offensive.
On the same day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended trading at 48,904.78, down 73.14 points (0.15%) from the previous session.
The S&P 500 index, which focuses on large-cap stocks, rose 2.74 points (0.04%) to close at 6,881.52, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index gained 80.64 points (0.36%) to end the day at 22,748.85.
