Won Law Firm (Managing Partners Yoon Giwon and Lee Yoojung) has developed an AI litigation platform for large-scale class actions. Won has begun using the newly developed platform for the first time in the class-action lawsuit over the Coupang personal data breach and has started recruiting plaintiffs.
On the 24th, Won announced that it had jointly developed and introduced the class-action AI platform together with legal tech company A2D2. Won explained that the platform is an internally designed system created to handle large-scale cases involving hundreds or more plaintiffs in a more sophisticated manner.

This not only improves work efficiency but also provides an enhanced user experience for lawsuit participants by enabling simple filing, minimizing errors, and allowing them to check the progress in real time.
Won initially developed the AI platform to facilitate remedies for the rights of the firm’s own officers and employees in the aftermath of the Coupang incident, but later decided to apply it to client services as well, based on the judgment that it was necessary to provide clients with the highest possible level of convenience.
Attorney Park Changhwan, who is leading this lawsuit, said, “The core of large-scale class actions is accurate data management and transparent procedures,” adding, “Through the platform, we can systematically reduce missing documents, duplication, and entry errors, and provide guidance on the progress of each stage in near real time, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of remedying victims’ rights.”
The first case to which this platform is being applied is the class-action lawsuit related to the recent large-scale personal data breach at Coupang, and Won has recently begun officially recruiting participants.
Lawsuit participants can conveniently apply online by accessing a dedicated filing page and completing only a minimum set of steps, such as submitting a copy of an ID card for identity verification, providing a bank account number in their own name to receive compensation, and uploading supporting materials such as screenshots of the “My Coupang” personal information page and the notification text message about the data breach.
